SUGAR LAND – Police in Sugar Land are asking for the group’s assist after a girl allegedly stole a cat from an adoption heart at a Petco, and was later discovered dumped close to San Antonio.
The cat, a tabby named Charlie Brown, was stolen at Petco positioned within the 3300 block of Highway 6 close to Williams Trace.
The Homeless and Orphaned Pets Endeavor (HOPE), who had Charlie Brown up for adoption, mentioned a number of cats had been saved in a cat tower crate within the cat room for a brief interval to permit folks to satisfy them throughout retailer hours.
However, on Dec. 26 someday after 2 p.m., a girl carrying a beige or gray-colored cardigan, purple neck wrap, and black leggings was caught on digicam getting into the shop. She was seen walking round for about an hour earlier than breaking into the cat room, snatching Charlie Brown, and inserting him in a white field.

One week later, Charlie Brown was discovered.
Animal management officers discovered the feline wandering as a stray in Jourdanton, simply south of town. He was present in good situation with no accidents.
Organizers with HOPE had been en route to choose him up.
It’s unclear presently if Charlie Brown might be placed again into adoption. KPRC 2 has reached out to the organization.
