PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — A home cat in Central Pennsylvania has died after being shot with a BB gun.
According to the Camp Hill Police Department, an investigation is now underway into the animal cruelty case. Camp Hill police mentioned the cat was killed on North twenty fourth Street in Cumberland County someday between Oct. 11-12.
Camp Hill police mentioned an unknown suspect killed the home cat, which died from its accidents after being shot. It is just not clear if there are any suspects or arrests.

In 2017, a brand new anti-animal cruelty regulation was signed into regulation in Pennsylvania. Libre’s Law strengthens the safety of animals and will increase penalties for these convicted of animal abuse within the state. Under Libre’s Law, aggravated animal cruelty — which incorporates inflicting the loss of life of an animal — may be charged as a felony.
Libre’s Law was impressed by a Boston Terrier puppy discovered badly uncared for and abused in Central Pennsylvania, in keeping with the Unified Judicial System of Pennsylvania.
