Cat saved from burning home in Kelowna
Fire broke out at Columbus Gardens townhouse around 1p.m.
A cat appeared tired out, however safe after sustaining a house fire in Kelowna.
Heavy black smoke was in the air near Burtch Road and Springfield Road on the afternoon of June 30.
Emergency services were contacted us to the Columbus Gardens townhouse advancement around 1p.m. on Friday, with reports of a fire noticeable through a 2nd flooring window.
Six firetrucks took care of the scene to fight the blaze, in addition to Fortis BC.

A Capital News press reporter saw a cat drawn from the smoldering building.
The fire was torn down prior to 1:30p.m. It’s cause is not yet understood.
