On Saturday, March 30, firefighters had been referred to as to a home on Lozier Road after a cat bought caught in a tree behind the home 40 ft into the woods, the Budd Lake Fire Department Co. #1 stated.
A 35-foot ladder was used to get the cat, who was 30 ft up, from the tree, firefighters stated. One firefighter went up the ladder and the cat jumped down from the tree the place one other firefighter helped break its fall, firefighters stated.
The cat then ran again home, firefighters stated.
“As a fireplace division, we do all of it,” the Budd Lake Fire Department stated.
