Property developer and meals waste firm proprietor Michael Osborne of the Ballamodha Straight in Ballasalla appeared earlier than Deputy High Bailiff Rachael Braidwood at Douglas Courthouse.

The courtroom heard a cat triggered the alarm which robotically alerted the police – when officers arrived they discovered cartridges for searching rifles and shotguns for which Osborne didn’t have a licence.
