A girl has been reunited along with her pet cat 11 years after reporting her lacking.
Daisy the cat didn’t return home quickly after transferring to the Caerphilly space from Dorset along with her proprietor, Sian Sexton, in 2012.
But final week, Ms Sexton acquired a shock cellphone name from a Caerphilly vet who mentioned a cat microchipped to her had been introduced into the clinic.
“I’m nonetheless in shock,” the 43-year-old mentioned.
Ms Sexton, who has since moved to Rhydyfelin, Rhondda Cyon Taf, mentioned she found Daisy had been residing as a stray in Caerphilly for greater than a decade.
She was taken to the vet by locals who have been involved about her well being.
Daisy was “completely matted” and had cat flu, Ms Sexton mentioned.
“She was sneezing and wheezing, and so they [the people who brought her in] did not suppose she would survive one other winter being outdoors,” she added.
At 17 years old, the identical age as her sister Dory who remains to be owned by Ms Sexton, Daisy is responding nicely to medicine.
“She’s survived all this time and now in her last days she lastly comes again to us,” she mentioned.
