PUEBLO, Colo. (KKTV) -A cat and her kittens were rescued from a garbage compactor in Pueblo after veterinary center staff members observed the feline family beginning to spend a growing number of time playing in it.
Employees at the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region’s (HSPPR) Pueblo Wellness Clinic had actually been seeing and feeding the cat and her 2 kittens, however they informed shelter agents that their issues began to increase recently when they observed the growing kittens playing in the compactor near the PetSmart the center runs out of.
Shelter agents said the group at the center set a trap for the cats, and within half a day, they’d all been humanely caught and given the shelter “for safe keeping.” Because the center staff members had actually been watching on them, staff members at the shelter said the cats were all reasonably healthy.
As of Friday night, the kittens had actually been put into a foster home, and their mother had actually already been embraced out to her brand-new family.
