MILWAUKEE – A cat died in a Milwaukee home hearth on Friday afternoon, March 22.
Firefighters have been known as to the home on 14th Street north of Bolivar Avenue round 4:45 p.m. The hearth was put out in a first-floor bed room.

While all of the residents self-evacuated with out damage, the cat died within the hearth. No one was displaced.
The explanation for the fireplace stays underneath investigation. The hearth division stated the home’s smoke detector was operational.
