The blaze, which began in a kitchen bin, occurred in Overdale, Telford.
The canine was effective and left within the care of a neighbour by firefighters. No folks had been at risk.
A Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman mentioned: “At 12.50pm on Saturday, April 27, SFRS Fire Control obtained a name reporting a home fireplace in Telford.
“Fire in bin in kitchen extinguished utilizing two respiratory equipment and one hose reel jet. One canine rescued from property.”
Two fireplace engines had been despatched to the scene from Telford and Wellington. An operations officer was in attendance.
