A cat that was discovered deserted in a Primark retailer has been taken in by the RSPCA.
The black home longhair cat was present in a service by a member of workers within the Leicester metropolis centre store on Tuesday.
An RSPCA spokesperson stated the bag had been pushed beneath a garments rail of Bart Simpson kids’s jumpers.
The feminine cat was taken to a vet, who discovered her in situation, and has since been moved to a non-public cattery.
The animal is believed to be aged between 12 and 18 months old.
RSPCA inspector Richard Durant stated: “It could be very odd for somebody to desert a cat in the midst of a busy store.
“Staff on the retailer are checking CCTV. In the meantime, we’re urging anybody who has any details about this cat to get in contact with us.”
