VINTON, Va. (WSET) —
A devastating home fireplace in Vinton on Tuesday left three folks with out a home, and in an update Wednesday officers stated the estimated damages are at $375K.
The two adults who have been contained in the home on Meadows Court on the time of the hearth each escaped unhurt. Three grownup residents might be displaced and are staying with household.
On Wednesday the Roanoke County Fire & Rescue Department stated the hearth began due to improperly discarded smoking supplies.
There was thermal injury to 2 different close by buildings, officers stated.
A cat that went lacking within the fireplace has nonetheless not been discovered, firefighters stated.
