PLYMOUTH, Ind. (Gray News) – Employees with the Indiana Department of Transportation labored outdoors of their discipline Thursday once they turned the rescuers of a cat that turned caught up excessive on a salt dome by a freeway.
INDOT mentioned the cat, named Rengoku, was being chased by some coyotes when it escaped them by climbing up the salt dome off of Highway 31 north of Plymouth.
“A flawless plan really….until it came to getting back down,” the division wrote in a social media submit.
INDOT crews sprung into motion to spare one of many cat’s 9 lives by utilizing a bucket truck to achieve up and get him. Fortunately, Rengoku was rescued with out problem and brought again home to his household, the place he’s now secure and sound.
“Our coworkers really are the cat’s meow,” the division wrote.
