A week-long event for cats started Saturday in Edmonton.
Until May 28, cat enthusiasts will have the ability to take pleasure in numerous feline-related occasions in the city for the Edmonton Cat Festival.
The yearly occasion is a charity event and has actually raised $130,000 for cat saves considering that 2014. This year, 100 percent of profits will be contributed to the Furget Me Not Animal Rescue.
The celebrations started with a fulfill and welcome with Instagram traveler Gary the Cat at the Homes Alive Pets on 171 Street and Stony Plain Road.
