ISANTI COUNTY, Minn. (WCCO) – It is an unbelievable story of survival out of Minnesota.
A kitten managed to remain alive for greater than per week on her personal after surviving a home explosion.
Miss Piggy must have her bandages modified each couple of days.
Her foster mom Hannah Waggoner stated the ache is the worst half.
“All four of her paw pads are completely burned, some down to the tendons. Very deep, severe burns,” Waggoner stated.
Miss Piggy survived a home explosion that occurred final month in rural Isanti County.
The 4-month-old kitten was misplaced for eight days.
When the home-owner’s daughter discovered her within the close by woods, Miss Piggy was harm and badly malnourished.
“These animals are so fragile, but they’re so resilient, so it doesn’t surprise me in the slightest that she would be out there fighting for herself,” Waggoner stated.
Waggoner has been caring for the cat, conserving her snug and bringing her usually to Ruff Start Rescue in Princeton, Minnesota, for veterinarian care.
“It makes you feel good when you can help in these situations, especially in a situation where there’s high levels of emotion,” Waggoner added.
Miss Piggy’s household made the troublesome resolution to give up her as they take care of the aftermath of the explosion, in line with Waggoner.
Another one among their cats, Squiggles, was discovered on the scene and can be now being fostered whereas she recovers from burns of her personal.
The animal rescue group is accepting donations to assist with Miss Piggy’s medical care.
