A cat has actually been rescued by the RSPCA after being discovered with a pipeline stayed his neck.
The animal charity was gotten in touch with by a worried member of the general public who discovered the feline in the predicament in Driffield on Tuesday.
Animal rescue officer Hannah Williams addressed rescue the cat and, after seeing how tight the pipeline was around his neck, understood it would be more than a one-person job. She took the cat to a veterinarians in Bridlington who, the good news is, eliminated the pipeline.
Hannah said:
“This pipe was so tightly wedged around his neck that it’s hard to say how it got there or how long it’d been there. The vets managed to remove the pipe and gave the cat a good check over. Thankfully he wasn’t injured after his ordeal.”
The cat resided on a regional farm so after an over night remain at the veterinarians, he was hung back home at the farm.
Hannah included:
“We simply hope this moggy prevents anymore pipelines!”
