BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – While on nearly any given night time you’ll be able to activate the information and see all of the doom and gloom you need what you not often see are the wonderful issues our first responders do behind the scenes to make a distinction in somebody’s or one thing’s life.

You know, stuff like what occurred on Monday, November 4th when Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Deputies teamed up with our companions from Brevard County Fire Rescue to save lots of a kitten that had sadly gotten caught within the engine space of an workers car.

The incident occurred within the car parking zone of the Kentucky Fried Chicken in Port St. John and for the report I can’t blame the kitten for making an attempt to get a journey there as who doesn’t love their hen!!

Well regardless, whereas hitching a journey in considered one of KFC’s workers automotive, the kitten acquired caught within the below carriage of the car and couldn’t get out.

After a name got here in to our Communications Center, our Deputies and an Animal Enforcement Officer responded to the scene and went to work making an attempt to free the kitten from the automotive. After calling in backup from our companions at BCFR Engine 26 and a few minor removing of some below carriage safety the workforce was in a position to free the kitten and get him safely to our Animal Care Center for remedy and care.

If I’m a betting man, my guess could be that the kitten is now known as “Colonel” and he can’t wait to get again to KFC someday.

I couldn’t be extra happy with our workforce and our companions at BCFR for all they do every day to guard each one and each factor on this neighborhood!! No matter what the decision or task is our two businesses at all times companion collectively to guarantee that everybody in Brevard County is protected and sound.

Regardless if its a crucial incident, a kitten rescue, or partnering collectively on charity occasions BCSO and BCFR get it carried out.

Now that’s “The Good Stuff!!”
