Blaze the cat was discovered in December by a Good Samaritan, on the side of a highway beyond Regina.
Somehow, Blaze had actually made it through wind chills of -51 on the day he was discovered.

He was required to the Regina Humane Society (RHS), a regional non-profit organization that looks after homeless, disregarded and abused cats, dogs and other domestic animals.
RHS attempted to gradually warm Blaze up throughout the night and help him towards a complete healing.
“When he came in, he had an upper respiratory infection as well,” said RHS director of marketing and public relations Bill Thorne. “So, we had to treat that. And they tried to keep an eye on him, but it was pretty obvious that he was going to lose his ear tips.”
The pointers of Blaze’s ears were surgically eliminated after going through the freezing temperature levels and he was momentarily put in foster care to recuperate.

On Friday, Blaze – who now solutions to Blake – took a trip even more than he has actually ever been previously.
Blake now invests his afternoons absorbing the sun with his brand-new family in Arizona.
