SWLA, La. (KPLC) – Authorities with the Ward 3 Marshal’s Office and Louisiana State Police rescued a canine and cat from visitors.
Mark Fontenot, who works with the Marshal’s Office, saved a cat that was sitting on the highest of the 210 bridge on Thursday morning.
Fontenot affectionately nicknamed the cat “Bridgette,” and took the cat to an area animal hospital. Fontenot mentioned he plans to take the cat home with him.
Over on I-10 close to the Louisiana/Mississippi state line, trooper Todd Henry with the LSP noticed a small canine darting via visitors on Wednesday. Henry was in a position to rescue the lacking canine and return the canine, Toby, to his involved proprietor inside just a few hours.
According to state police, Toby’s proprietor had opened his automobile door to assist out different motorists concerned in a crash when Toby jumped out of the car.
