ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) — It’s kitten season at the Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA.

The animal shelter says it already has 80 kittens under eight weeks of age in its care.

Many of these animals are orphans and have not been weaned, which means they are being fed formula.

However, CASPCA says it is almost out of supplies to care for these tiny animals.

It is asking for the community’s help to bring in supplies of KMR and PMR kitten milk replacers and pee pads.

These items will be given to fosters who are caring for the kittens and getting them to an age when they could be adopted.

Anyone interested in helping out can contact the CASPCA here. There is a Kitten Season Wish List through Amazon available here.
