It’s that time of year — kitten season.

According to the Valley Animal Center in Fresno, it prepares for an increase of of kittens this kitten season.

“June is usually the month where numerous speeds are at the height of kitten season,” said Alisia Sanchez, Marketing Manager for VAC. “In the last 2 days, we have actually discovered 9 kittens abandoned on our properties.”

The Center said 6 of those kittens were left outside its front doors covered in feces and urine.

Valley Animal Center’s cat and dog adoption centers are open Wednesday through Friday from 2:00 to 7:00 P.M. Weekends from 10:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M.
