Wilson, a two-year-old tabby from Rosehearty, was embraced by the Innes family in May 2021 and copes with Julie, 39, Paul, 44, Hannah, 11, and Joel, 9.
Mrs Innes said he has a “great personality”, including: “He’s really cushy. My daughter would hold him like he’s a baby and he would snuggle into her for cuddles, he’s very friendly.”
Well-understood in the area, Wilson who “just loves people”, does not conceal from complete strangers and if any person enters the family home he does not understand, rather of fleing and concealing, he will get on their lap for cuddles.
At six-months old, he began going out for strolls and would follow individuals on their routes round Rosehearty, with individuals walking the feline back to his house.
‘I had to pick him up from the the local bar’
Discussing his journeys round the town, Mrs Innes said: “I’ve had to pick him up from the Brownies at the local church, I had to pick him up from the the local bar, the Davron, and got him from the butcher.”
Wilson then began going to Rosehearty Primary School, where Hannah and Joel both go to, and when spotted, their good friends yell to inform them that he has actually gotten here.
Initially put out by the school, the young cat was so identified that he climbed up in a class and the instructor, a fan of cats, let him remain and he snoozed the day away in the middle of the class.
‘He’s remained in most likely every class in the school’
Even throughout the continuous strikes, Wilson went to school, with instructors now letting him in, with Mrs Innes stating:
“He’s been in probably every class in the school. One day he actually went to PE. I’ve went to pick the kids up from school and I’ve had a phone call, or I get a message from the school now to say ‘can you come and collect Wilson from reception?’”
During the current school picture day, Wilson remained in the building at the time and got snapped by the professional photographer using the headmaster’s tie.
“The bairns came home with their photos in the bag and a photo of Wilson, so I ordered a few of them,” Mrs Innes said.
The mum of 2 has actually even been asked how he is by individuals that she has actually not fulfilled prior to and
What does the future hold for Wilson? Maybe an Instagram page or a book discussing his shenanigans, Mrs Innes exposes.
