Cat fanciers had been left purring as one of many UK’s largest cat exhibits took place in South Yorkshire on November 11.
The exhibiting and competitors of pedigree breeds was collectively hosted by Governing Council of the Cat Fancy (GCCF) members Yorkshire Cat Club and Cumberland Cat Club, attracting a whole bunch of cats to the Doncaster Dome.
Both present cats and family pets, pedigree and non-, competed in several classes because the profitable felines and their house owners had been hopeful of profitable the grand prize as ‘Best in Show’. Last 12 months the trophy was taken home by York breeder Rebecca Eagland and her Abyssinian – Abychat Eye-of-the-tiger.
GCCF guidelines state that profitable cats should “have a good temperament, be presented well, be shown in very good condition and have a good personality too”.
There had been alternatives for members of the general public to not solely pattern wares from the quite a few stalls on the occasion, but in addition to speak to breeders and study pedigree breeds and their traits.
