EVERETT, Wash. – Nine individuals were displaced, and a family cat killed, in a fire at an Everett duplex early Sunday early morning.
South County Fire was contacted us to a fire at a duplex on 115th St SE around 1:15 a.m. Firefighters worked to include the fire to the primary system it began in, and had the ability to extinguish it prior to 2 a.m.
Fire authorities believe it started as an outside fire that rose to the attic and 2nd story.
According to Everett Fire, 9 individuals left the fire and nobody was hurt, however a family cat passed away in the fire, and a 2nd cat is missing out on.
