8-Week-Old Kitten in San Diego Rescued After Getting Trapped in the Frame of a Truck

A truck driver stumbled upon a kitten stuck inside a hole in the frame of his vehicle after hearing meowing noises at a stop indication while on the roadway

An 8-week-old kitten is secure after being rescued from the frame of a truck.

The rescue objective happened after the San Diego Humane Society received a contact Monday afternoon from a truck driver who heard meowing noises at a stop indication while on the roadway.

According to a Facebook post by the non-profit organization, the driver said the noises were originating from a black and white kitten he discovered stuck in a hole in the frame of the vehicle.

“Our veterinary group without delay came to the scene and worked along with our Humane Officers to securely draw out the kitten,” the post describes. “After sedating the kitten, they patiently utilized Q-tips to remove her head and complimentary her from the difficult situation. The kitten was carried to our Escondido Campus for extra care, consisting of discomfort medication, fluids, prescription antibiotics, and a good meal.”

Many social networks users required to the post’s remark area to share their appreciation for the San Diego Humane Society rescue effort.

One user composed: “big thank you to the truck driver, too!!! Not sure the number of truck drivers would stop at the noise of a cat meowing. These news products keep my rely on humankind from decreasing, so thank you, SD Humane Society, for existing and assisting these animals.”

Another user echoed the exact same beliefs including, “That poor child! Thank you for the work to rescue her!!”

In a news release, the San Diego Humane Society includes that the kitten is succeeding following the rescue objective and is serving her legal 3-day roaming hold with the organization. The Humane Society explains on its website that a roaming animal goes through a holding duration that differs in between state and regional laws after it is discovered and taken into a shelter.
