LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Lincoln Fire and Rescue was on the scene of a home hearth in central Lincoln Friday morning.
Crews arrived at a home close to the intersection of M and South thirty eighth Streets simply earlier than 8 a.m. and noticed flames coming from the basement. The hearth was rapidly put out.
LFR mentioned 5 kids and a cat had been evacuated from the home. No accidents had been reported.
A fireplace inspector decided the fireplace was brought on by a toddler enjoying with hearth.
Damages from the fireplace had been estimated at $75,000, in line with LFR.
