The Committee Against Torture (CAT) is the body of 10 independent professionals that keeps an eye on execution of the Convention versus Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment by its States celebrations.
The Committee Against Torture works to hold States responsible for human rights offenses, methodically examining reports of abuse in order to stop and avoid this criminal activity.
