GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KFGO) – Two dogs and a cat died and several other folks have been displaced after a hearth in Grand Forks Wednesday.
According to Battalion Chief Chris Carlson, fireplace crews have been referred to as to 1118 1st Avenue N. round 10:30 a.m. on a report of a construction fireplace. When they arrived, there was heavy smoke coming from the entrance of the two-story duplex.
