The little lady came home from school March 30 when she unlocked and discovered her basement home on Bridge Street was on fire
Brooklynn says she got her cat and signaled her next-door neighbor, who has spastic paralysis, to go out.
“All I saw was fire, and I saw my cat right there and he was meowing. I simply got him and left. It was so much,” said Brooklynn.
Mr. Kitty remained at the animal healthcare facility over night for smoke inhalation.
Brooklynn suffered a small burn on her foot that needed treatment
The home she shows her father and 4 other brother or sisters is destroyed.
