One of the Island’s most critically-endangered birds is getting a serving to hand from the Manx Wildlife Trust.
MWT says 21 seed hoppers have placed on farms across the Island to assist feed birds – and the organisation says it is noticed Tree Sparrows tucking in.
14 Tree Sparrows have been ringed – the primary to be ringed on the Island in 10 years.
The Trust says the sparrows are the most-threatened chicken on the Island, and is hoping to reserve it from extinction right here.
