United Airlines flight UA1213 is a routine scheduled flight between Miami and Denver, with the affected rotation being operated by N25201.
As per information from Planespotters.net, N25201 is a 24.1 yr old Boeing 737-800 that was delivered initially to Continental Airlines again in December 1999.
The plane was handed over to the U.S provider in October 2010 following the merger between the 2 sides.
Of the 737-800 variant, the provider has 141 within the fleet, of which 131 are in lively service and 10 are at present parked, providing a median fleet age of 19.9 years.
United Airlines flight UA1213 departed Miami at 0744 native time and proceeded north-westerly in direction of Denver.
As per The Aviation Herald, when UA1213 was on method into the vacation spot discipline, the plane hit a hen.
However, the plane landed safely with out difficulty. It is known the FAA reported that the plane skilled the hen strike to the suitable engine cowling and different components of the plane.
