The hen flew by the store’s open doorways on 26 September however when it nonetheless hadn’t discovered its personal approach out 4 days later, two members of the South Essex Ringing Group arrived on the scene to assist it on its approach.

David Wilkinson and David Pallash arrived on the Hobbycraft retailer to arrange what they stated was “certainly one of our weirder web lanes” by the aisles of the humanities and crafts store.
It solely took the 2 ringers 5 minutes to catch the hawk once they set the online after the shop closed at 6 pm on the finish of the working week.
A mist web was set alongside the aisles after the store closed (David Pallash).
Mr Wilkinson stated: “It gave me a very nasty scratch which is nice as a result of it exhibits it had loads of energy and character left.”
