Irish Distillers-owned Redbreast has launched a chicken feeder version of its 12-year-old whiskey, in collaboration with charity BirdLife International.
Now in its fourth 12 months, the discharge sees the whiskey, which is matured in a mixture of Bourbon and Sherry casks, introduced in a forest-green casing that may double as a chicken feeder. A portion of the proceeds from gross sales will go to BirdLife International to assist its work in chicken conservation.
The forest-green color has been chosen to mirror the plush environments that birds dwell in.
Irish Distillers’ grasp blender, Billy Leighton, stated that the bottles can play “a vital position in offering very important safety and nourishment to birds, making certain their wellbeing, significantly in the course of the colder months’’.

The proceeds from final 12 months’s launch raised €70,000 (US$74,000) for chicken conservation in partnership with BirdLife International, whose mission is ‘to create a positive future for all birds’.

The chicken feeder bottle will probably be available to buy from 1 November in 9 markets, for an RRP of €78 (US$82).
In recent months, Redbreast has recreated a 10-year-old whiskey and added to its Iberian vary.
