Protective mother or father in a dramatic dive swoops in to win Bird Photographer of the Year

Every yr, the annual Bird Photographer of the Year competition blows us away with the sweetness and drama of their pictures. The winners of this yr’s competitors have simply been introduced, and the usual is as excessive as ever.

The Young Bird Photographer of the Year 2023 was awarded to 17-year-old German photographer Anton Trexler for his extremely atmospheric picture of a blackbird silhouetted towards the Moon.
