The police raided their properties and located seven shotguns and a few 2,500 stuffed birds on the two males’s properties.
During the search on the Żurrieq man’s home, the officers discovered over 100 protected birds within the freezer, in addition to the carcass of a protected African Genet.
At the Gudja man’s home, the law enforcement officials discovered 40 birds within the freezer.
In 2019, the police had found 700 lifeless birds in what they stated was an identical prison ring that may stuff and promote protected birds.
