The Loro Sexi ornithological park in Almuñécar has elevated its assortment of parrots because of donations from non-public people. The pairs of birds embrace rainbow lorikeets, solar parakeets and blue-fronted amazons, whose homeowners are unable to handle them and have entrusted the park to take them in, based on the city’s councillor for parks and gardens, Carlos Ferrón.
Conchi Bueno and Sebastián Polo, who donated the birds, stated that from the outset the care and a spotlight they and their parrots have acquired has been “unbeatable” and so they recognised that the birds could be “better off there than at home”.
They added that the employees “call them by their names” and “communicate to them the best way we do and that claims loads in regards to the nice professionals who make up this park”.
Ferrón defined that the parrots are “giant birds that want plenty of care, so it’s troublesome to take care of them”.

Staff on the Loro Sexi park defined that the parrots “have remained in the park under quarantine under the supervision of the veterinary team” and “have previously undergone a special deworming treatment before being introduced into their new enclosures with the rest of the birds, in order to ensure that all the animals that make up the ornithological park are cared for”.
