VALLEY PARK — Murphy, the flightless bald eagle that went viral on social networks this spring for breeding a rock, is set to go back to public watching at World Bird Sanctuary here Sunday.
Not long after the general public paid attention to Murphy’s distinct expression of breeding season hormonal agents, sanctuary staff made him a foster parent to a child eaglet blown from its nest throughout a storm near Ste. Genevieve, and the 2 were sequestered in a personal enclosure.
But the eaglet, determined just as 23-126, is at the point now where it requires a brand-new good example as it finds out to fly, and was moved into a different enclosure previously this month.
Neither bird appeared too separated about the separation, sanctuary staff composed in a Facebook post, and Murphy appeared happy to be able to consume whenever he desired, without disturbance or sharing.
