A bouncer tossed ‘homophobic abuse’ at a female as she went to an east London pub to view the Super Bowl, it has actually been declared.

The doorman supposedly disagreed with her sexual preference when she reached The Leyton Star on Sunday.

In a post on area app Next Door, a friend composed: ‘A celebration people went there to view the Super Bowl, the door security disagreed with a friend of mine since of her sexual preference. 

‘I’m not stating the pub is the concern however they are using honestly homophobic door staff.’

He then declared he informed his friend ‘you’ll never ever be a guy, stop imitating one,’ and supposedly called her a ‘geezer bird’ and a ‘fat d**e’.

He included: ‘This location utilized to be a beautiful pub and had no concern with members of the LGBTQ+ neighborhood. However, it appears like they now do.

‘Please take that in mind.’

The Leyton Star said they are taking the supposed occurrence ‘very seriously’ and have actually already stopped their relationship with the third-party employee. 

A representative said: ‘We are certainly familiar with the allegation.

‘Within an hour of receiving news of this from the complainant (on Monday, February 13 at approximately 1.45pm, 12 hours after the alleged incident) we contacted the third party security company ourselves to relay this complaint to them for further investigation, and with further instruction to not employ the services of the accused, indefinitely.’

They included: ‘At the same time this complaint was raised to the Head Office who are aware of this accusation. We take this very seriously.’

The Leyton Star becomes part of the Electric Star pub chain, which has several places throughout east London.

Pubs part of the group consist of The Heathcote and Star in Leytonstone, Star of Bethnal Green and The Star by Hackney Downs.
