There is some extent that should be made first… I like this very spring-like climate Casper has been having the final week. After surviving these subarctic temperatures for the primary couple weeks of January 2024 (and a great half of December 2023), there’s been a literal 80° shift, from -40° to 40° and better now.
However, due to the comparatively good climate, there was an enormous flock of birds occupying the timber just a few fleet from my parking space. You can do the maths. That means they always defecate on my automobile.
I do not assume I’ve ever needed to wash a automobile as usually, a minimum of through the months of December and January, then I’ve needed to these final thirty or so days. It’s to the purpose now that I significantly assume the birds are literally aiming at for my journey.
All jokes apart although, I’m loving this climate. I keep in mind how unhealthy winter 2023 was. Casper and some different Wyoming cities broke 40-year document lows, so I positively don’t desire anymore components of that.
I do nonetheless want these exceptionally Wyoming climate resilient fowls would discover a new home… or a minimum of do their business elsewhere.
Someone please inform me that I’m not the one one having this situation.

Wyoming is home to some fairly epic creatures. The pronghorn is the second quickest land animal on this planet, second solely to the cheetah — and it is value noting that whereas the cheetah can spring quicker, the pronghorn can maintain it is high pace a lot farther. And whereas we do have loads of cute and cuddly creatures (llike the nothern saw-whet owl) there are many issues that’ll kill ya. Might need to assume twice about transferring right here.
