We all know by now that Helldivers 2 is admittedly good and actually common, however Circana trade analyst Mat Piscatella says the sport’s gross sales success in its first few weeks of launch is almost unprecedented—and he is fairly enthusiastic about it.
“Feel like Steve Irwin sighting a uncommon hen or one thing,” Piscatella stated in a recent tweet thread. “Rare and wonderful, in an Australian accent even.”

The thrill is pushed by what Piscatella stated is “an honest-to-goodness inverse decay curve,” which he defined is a phenomenon that happens when a recreation flips the standard course of gross sales, which go hardest at launch after which tail off at various charges.
