COZY FOREST — We’ve learned from past videos that bears love swimming pools, mirrors, koi ponds, GoPro cameras and wrestling. And, frankly, that sounds like a pretty epic life … just soaking in pools and ponds, playing around with mirrors and cameras and finishing the day off with a wrestling match.
Well, from the looks of this new video, we can also add eating birdseed to the list.
According to the video’s description, the cabin owner/photographer woke early in the morning and noticed this big, fuzzy animal exploring the bird feeder. She initially thought it was a “really fat deer,” then realized it was a bear.
“I ran inside to wake up my husband and kids so they could see it,” the cabin owner explains in the caption. “When we came back out to the porch (leaving the cabin door open in case we need to make a quick escape), the bear started to crawl down the hill towards the cabin with two cute little cubs following right behind her. When it got to the tree, which was about 30 feet from where we were watching on the porch, it tried to reach the bird feeder, but to no avail.”
But this is a bear we’re talking about. And bears don’t take “no” for an answer. So, it’s not surprising that the mama bear busted out some amazing “Mission Impossible” moves to get that bird feeder out of the tree.
My only question is whether her cubs were able to capture the whole scene with their GoPro.
