Mangaluru, Oct 7: In view of National Wildlife Week, on October 7, the Nature Club in affiliation with division of zoology at St Agnes College, Autonomous, organized a visitor lecture on ‘Deforestation and its impact on Bird Migration’ for the members of Nature Club and the ultimate 12 months BSc zoology college students.
Reginald Valdar, Bird Enthusiast, was the visitor speaker. He spoke about deforestation being the best risk to the chicken habitat and the way anthropological actions have stripped them off their habitats and led to the migration of birds. As many as 90 college students participated enthusiastically within the session. The session was very informative and the scholars gained information on numerous elements of environmental dialog.
Ameetha Okay, head of the division of zoology, Vivid D’Souza, coordinator of Nature Club, Vishma D’Cunha and Farheen Naaz from the division of zoology and Sai Tanvi, secretary of Nature Club have been current.
