A flight from Leeds Bradford Airport aborted take-off this morning and returned inside 45 minutes as emergency companies responded.
Spotters reported loud noises because the flight LS255 airplane handed over Bingley and the FlightRadar24 tracker reveals the airplane – sure for Girona, Spain – flying in circles.
However, this has not but been confirmed as the rationale for the aborted take off.
Emergency companies responded “appropriately” to the incident in keeping with a spokesperson for the airport.
All passengers have been secure and the airport stays open as regular.
A spokesperson for LBA stated: “We can affirm outbound flight LS255 GRO aborted take-off this morning, with emergency groups responding appropriately. The flight landed safely with no points to passengers. The airport stays open as regular.”
Jet2 has been contacted for remark.
