Spotters reported loud noises because the flight LS255 airplane handed over Bingley and the FlightRadar24 tracker exhibits the airplane – sure for Girona, Spain – flying in circles.
After departing at 7.08am, the airplane landed at round 7.50am again at Leeds Bradford Airport.
One passenger took to social media to report the problem was a ‘bird-strike’.
However, this has not but been confirmed as the explanation for the aborted take off.
Emergency companies responded “appropriately” to the incident in keeping with a spokesperson for the airport.
All passengers had been protected and the airport stays open as traditional.
A spokesperson for LBA mentioned: “We can affirm outbound flight LS255 GRO aborted take-off this morning, with emergency groups responding appropriately. The flight landed safely with no points to passengers. The airport stays open as traditional.”
Jet2 has been contacted for remark.
