GREENFIELD – The arrival of spring is bringing a growing group of birding lovers back together for their preferred activity.
The initially Greenfield Birders group walk of the year was April 8 and continues every other week at regional parks for a complimentary chance of any ages and capabilities to delight in nature.
Local locals Adam and Sara Wilson lead the group, which has a following of more than 400 individuals on Facebook who regularly publish images and concerns about their flying buddies.
Birding adventures enable individuals to collaborate early on Saturday early mornings for a one- to two-hour walk through a regional park. Binoculars are recommended, however there are typically a couple of additional on hand to share, Adam Wilson said.
New this year are free gifts at the strolls; sometimes birding professionals participate for the experience and to share some understanding.
Those who require available paths may wish to think about an adventure to Beckenholdt Family Park.
Bring a cam if you wish to snap some shots, or merely delight in the views and friendship with others who delight in birding.
