Dublin Airport officers have mentioned they’re working with wildlife specialists to assist a fowl thought to have been residing in a terminal for as much as 40 days to get safely out of the building.
The fowl, believed to be a starling, has been noticed within the prime flooring of Terminal 1, seemingly unable to get out of the principle doorways to the building two ranges under.
It was reported on Thursday that an animal campaigner seen the fowl flying round contained in the terminal final week, searching for scraps of meals.
Caoimhe Laird Phelan posted footage of the fowl on-line, and mentioned she had realized it had been seen contained in the building for as much as 40 days. She mentioned the starling repeatedly flies as much as the home windows on the terminal roof “in a panic” in a bid to flee.
On Thursday, a Dublin Airport spokesperson mentioned they had been working to assist the fowl lastly escape the terminal.
“We note the concern about the bird currently living in Terminal 1 at Dublin Airport,” they mentioned in a social media submit.

They added: “In the meantime, the public can be fully assured that the bird is getting plenty to eat and drink and is healthy. The safe return of the bird to the wild is a top priority and we thank the public for leaving its rescue to the professionals. Stay tuned for further updates!”
