PARIS, Nov 14 (Reuters) – Denmark has reported an outbreak of extremely pathogenic H5N1 avian influenza, or fowl flu, on a turkey farm, the Paris-based World Organisation for Animal Well being (WOAH) mentioned on Monday.
The outbreak within the small city of Lundby killed 204 birds, with the remainder of the 33,600-strong flock slaughtered, WOAH mentioned in a report, citing info from the Danish authorities.
