The Chagrin River Bird Quest Birding Challenge — a 24-hour birding marathon — occurs Sept. 8-9, and Geauga Park District in collaboration with Greater Cleveland Audubon Society and Blackbrook Audubon is motivating location homeowners to put together a group and take part.

Those interested can begin by signing up with the Audubon Society of Greater Cleveland at www.clevelandaudubon.org under Bird Quest, then pertaining to The West Woods Nature Center in between 4 and 6 p.m. Sept. 8. The West Woods lies at 9465 Kinsman Road in Russell Township.

During group check-in and last registration, individuals can likewise get maps, lists and Tee shirts – all complimentary products – and talk technique with colleagues and biologists, according to a press release. They will then spend the next 24 hr birding.
