Mancherial: A two-day long bird walk, arranged by the Forest department, ended in the Kawal Tiger Reserve in Jannaram mandal centre on Sunday.
Around 100 individuals found over 100 bird types at percolation tanks and other areas of the reserve. Nature fans, wildlife professional photographers, passionate birders from throughout the State and some from other States together with trainees of Forest College and Research Study Institute (FCRI)- Mulugu in Siddipet district participated in the bird walk.
The birders, aged in between 10 to 70, took on each other for a glance and clicks of extensive activities of the bird neighborhood consisting of a heartfelt scene of sharing food by sets of parakeets.
The individuals went to watch towers and had a breathtaking view of the forests. They earlier had a camp fire at the percolation tanks in your area called Maisammakunta, Ganishettikunta, Bisonkunta, Gonduguda base camps on Saturday night.
Anandita Mukherjee, a young birder from New Delhi, stated the KTR was a perfect location for viewing birds. She stated she was impressed by the centers produced for preservation of native and migrant birds. She mentioned that development of percolation tanks, reproducing nests and launching fingerlings in water bodies was drawing various bird types.
Jannaram Forest Divisional Officer S Madhav Rao, Forest Variety Officer Hafeezuddin and others existed.
