Summer tanager
Male birds are frequently more vibrant than women, however male and female summertime tanagers are both striking. The male is a deep ruby red; the female display screens numerous tones of yellow, often with a tip of orange. They’re common in Marion County combined forests, other than throughout the chillier months. This set was hanging out at Silver Springs State Park on the Sandhill Trail.
