CARE home residents in Nynehead Court took out their toolboxes and constructed nesting containers for National Nest Box Week.
The occasion, organised by the British Trust for Ornithology, is held yearly in February as a result of it’s when birds begin to pair up and begin discovering places for the breeding season.
The home’s residents constructed and adorned containers for the home’s 13 acres of tailor-made parkland, which have now been put in by a crew of gardeners.

Home supervisor Joanne Fenn stated: “Our residents love watching the birds and other wildlife in our grounds, and have wonderful views of these from our drawing room or their bedrooms.
“We have hung treats alongside the nesting boxes to attract the birds, and cannot wait to see them arrive.”
The Nynehead Court property presents ‘gracious retirement living’ for older individuals requiring residential care or shut care housing.
